Chris Evans returning to the MCU should feel exciting… so why does it feel like a desperation play?
I break down why Steve Rogers had one of the most beautiful endings in the entire Infinity Saga — and why bringing him back might undermine that. We also talk about Robert Downey Jr. reportedly playing Doctor Doom, the Russos returning, Marvel’s course correction after Kang, and whether this is creative inspiration… or panic mode.
I don’t hate the idea of revisiting characters at different stages of life. But when it feels like “our movies aren’t selling tickets — what can we do?” that’s where my skepticism kicks in.
Is this smart long-term storytelling… or nostalgia bait?
