Of course, I have no idea how to "interpret" Chopin's music. But it is fun to try ... in a sort of masochistic way. Perhaps it's the inscrutable (to me, anyway) nature of his music that draws me to it. It's a mystery to be solved. I could only find one example of this tune on Youtube, a piano version. But I didn't understand what he was doing with it, so it wasn't helpful.
It is only in recent years that I have tried to play arrangements that go above the 12th fret. In the past I was more sensible, but senility has liberated me to do stupid $hit like this. It's not easy playing those high notes cleanly. But I could feel slow improvement over time. So, it's really just a matter of practicing diligently ... if you're not lazy like me.
If you figure out how to play this let me know. I'd like to hear what it's supposed to sound like. And yes, it might have sounded a little better, if I changed the strings. I'm planning to do that some time soon.
