Winter hiking is here and that means the Eastern Sierra is popping off with some of the most beautiful winter hikes we have ever seen! We took advantage of one of the last hiking days in December before a massive snow storm rolled in, and headed to the Bishop Pass / South Lake Trailhead for a hike up to the Chocolate Lakes. From there, we ventured off trail for a scramble up to Chocolate Peak. Let's just say those views from the top overlooking all of the Eastern Sierra may be some of our favorite summit views yet!
