Meng Guangfa a 53 year old teacher in Guizhou Province accused school principal Chen Lin of embezzling money from the government subsidized lunch program that feeds 30 million students from poor rural families.

Meng said he was attacked after confronting the principal and suffered from a brain concussion. After he posted a message online about the embezzlement, local education authorities threatened to take his job away if he didn't retract his message. They also forced him to sign a "letter of regret."
