Marys Test Kitchen | CHINESE GREEN ONION OIL NOODLES // CONG YOU MIAN RECIPE Mary's Test Kitchen @marystestkitchen | Uploaded June 2021 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
hello friends! Let's make Chinese Green Onion Oil Noodles (Cong You Mian) EXCEPT with regular-western-grocery-store-friendly ingredients! You’ll only need some fresh green onions, a few pantry ingredients, and about 30 minutes.
Don't miss this dish of luscious pasta noodles infused with rich and salty dark soy sauce and aromatic green onion oil. Plus the best part: CRISPY green onion threads which are surprisingly sweet and add so much delicious flavour and texture to the noodles.
This recipe can easily be made gluten-free by using gluten-free tamari in place of regular and dark soy sauce, and using gluten-free noodles (such as rice vermicelli noodles).
