🤖 China Is Winning the Tech War — and Here’s the Proof
Who’s winning the high-tech race — the United States or China?
Here are some data points that should make you pause.
Two months ago, a group of 20 venture capitalists from the U.S. and Europe toured China’s high-tech sector.
They came back and said something alarming:
They’d found 5–6 entire industries in the U.S. they now consider uninvestable — because Chinese competitors are so far ahead.
We’re talking about:
🔋 Battery manufacturing
☀️ Solar panel production
🚗 Electric vehicle manufacturing
Now here’s where it gets wild.
China employs more robots than the rest of the world combined — over 2 million in their labor force.
In 2024, they added 300,000 more robots.
The United States? 34,000.
That’s a 10x difference in automation speed.
China is automating while the West debates.
And if politicians in the West slow that progress to “protect jobs,” they’ll only make industries uncompetitive — guaranteeing those same jobs disappear later anyway.
It’s like suggesting we park our tractors and go back to tilling fields by hand to “save farm jobs.”
It doesn’t work. It never has.
Technology always wins.
