The Church of Santo Stefano is a Catholic place of worship in the city of Venice, located at the northern end of the square of the same name in the San Marco district. The church was founded in 1294 by a community of Augustinians already present in Venice at the Church of Sant'Anna di Castello. The church remained under the care of the clergy until 1810, when it passed into the care of secular priests and became a parish church, absorbing the parishes of Sant'Angelo, San Vidal, San Maurizio, and San Samuele. Today, it is one of the main churches of the Marciana Community.
