Chieftain Alex Grant leads parade with the massed Pipes and Drums through Dufftown on Saturday 27th July 2024. The parade started by the Clocktower (in the background) and marched through the town to the opening of the 2024 Dufftown Highland Games in Moray, Scotland, with the bands playing Farewell to the Creeks and Cock o' the North.
The massed Pipe Bands of Moray and Aberdeenshire were led by leading Drum Major Nick Stables from Dufftown & District Pipe band. The other eight bands taking part were Aberlour Community & District Pipe Band, Ballater & District Pipe Band, Forres and District Pipe Band, Huntly & District Pipe Band, Kintore Pipe Band, Lonach Pipe Band, Strathisla Pipe Band and Towie Pipe Band. The Drum Majors with the bands were Bill Barclay, Fraser Dyer, Derek Dean, Ian Esson, Mike Munro, Mike Morgan, Ronnie Rennie and Phillip Michie.
