North Stratton Pipe Band from Canada competing in the Grade 2 bands final at the 2024 British Pipe Band Championships in Forres. This was on 8th June 2024 when the band, led here by Pipe Major Hugh Armstrong and wearing North Stratton tartan, were awarded 4th place in the Grade 2 British finals for this performance.
The tune set listed was Colin Thompson, The Friar's Britches, The Smurf and the Giant, The Girl from Dungannon, Ardara Cotage, The Braes O Forbes, Strathanne Reel and Picnic in the Sky.
Hosted by a partnership between YBD Music Ltd and the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association, the Championship involved over 100 bands and nearly 4,000 pipers & drummers from all over the UK.
