The colourful city of Chiang Rai should definitely be up on your list when visiting Northern Thailand. We kicked things off by visiting the magnificent White Temple which made us think about the meaning of life. We checked out the Baan Dam Museum, also known as the Black Temple, a massive space showcasing the works of artist Thawan Duchanee. This place made us think about death. After that we headed to the Blue Temple which has the most incredible temple art with a psychedelic flare. And finally we went up to Wat Huay Pla Kang for sunset. There's a lot more that Chiang Rai has to offer and we really hope to go back there again.
