It's Spring time and that can mean only one thing - it's time to pull out our hiking boots and head out into the mountains - happiness! 😊
We are in Fojal Valley - a sub-valley that cuts off from the Kullu-Manali highway. We're staying the weekend in Dhara Village at a friend's heritage kath-kuni style home, which is the start point for a hike to the hidden village of Parbi. Through forests and meadows and steep hill sides, we make it across the ridge to finally reach the secret hamlet of Parbi. It's unbelievable that a village like this still exists in Kullu Valley in 2022! Still no road... and maybe that's why it's somewhat frozen in time.
