Is the 2026 Chiang Mai Burning Season Getting Better? 🏔️🔥
Welcome back to the channel for our first Chiang Mai burning season 2026 update! If you’ve followed my annual vlogs, you know we always head to Doi Kham to gauge the smog levels over Northern Thailand.
As of late March 2026, the results are surprisingly positive. While we aren’t "out of the woods" yet—with April and May still ahead—the air quality is a massive turnaround compared to previous years. Today, the AQI is sitting in the yellow/orange zone (around 75), which is a "godsend" for this time of year.
