Increased performance, reduced back pressure, and that high-performance sound all come standard with the Chevrolet Performance 5.3L Cat-Back Dual-Exit Exhaust Upgrade system. With front 3-inch and rear split 2.75-inch outer-diameter 304 stainless-steel pipes, this system offers up to a 10-hp improvement at 5,600 rpm and up to 6 additional pound-feet of torque at 4,100 rpm compared with the production exhaust system. [Up to a 41 percent reduction in back pressure at 300 g/s at 600-degrees C makes it all possible] and the system is a bolt-on cat-back and includes everything required for a complete installation. Emissions-legal in all 50 states, this system will not void the New-Vehicle Limited Warranty. The estimated power is based on SAE test procedure J1349.
