The ministill (see youtu.be/UCzOD7EAXlk heats up 3 ml of cherry choke in less than 5 minutes. The colourless distillate smells of cherries (a form of steam distillation). The minute amount of molecules responsible for the odour can be detected with 0.002M potassium manganate and bromine water. I am using microscale methods on plastic folders to show the reactions
