Ingredients:
Recipe:
2 cups unsweetened chocolate chips or chucks ¼ cup unsweetened coconut
1/3 cup peanut butter ¼ cup confectioners sugar
1- 250ml Bottle Maraschino cherries 1- 300 ml can sweetened condensed milk
¼ cup crushed nuts ¼ cup Maraschino juice
24 small muffin tray and paper cups
Method:
Prepare the small muffin pans with paper cups, then in a small glass bowl add confectionery sugar and Maraschino juice, then mix together and sit aside until ready to use it.
In a medium saucepan, add unsweetened chocolate chips or chucks, start cooking them on a low stovetop heat. Then when it starts to melt, add the sweetened condensed milk, stirring continually.
Then add the unsweetened coconut, peanut butter, and crushed nuts. Mix together until all combined.
Then scoop a tablespoonful of the chocolate mixture into each paper cup and smooth up the sides of the cup to make a hole. Keep chocolate on warm stovetop stirring continually until all used…
After add a teaspoon of maraschino juice mixture, also one cherry. Then scoop another tablespoon of chocolate on top of mixture and spread and join into the side of the other chocolate.
Continue doing this to all cups until all the chocolate and cherry mixture are used.
Bonita’s Tips:
Keeping the chocolate warm on the stovetop until used but stirring so it don’t stick or burn.
Put muffin tins with bottom layer of chocolate in the freezer for 5 minutes to harden the chocolate if needed.
Use nuts of choice, i’m using walnuts. You can also use crunchy peanut butter.
