Even cheetah cubs need checkups!

Amabala's litter of four cubs recently had their very first veterinary exams, which included a physical exam, a blood draw, vaccinations and micro-chipping. Everyone was in good health, and the vets confirmed that all four cubs are female --a unique detail about this litter, which our team has not seen before!

Video description: clips depicting a team of animal care and veterinary staff performing exams on cheetah cubs. The video shows a montage of shots of vet staff doing a variety of medical procedures, including drawing blood from the cubs, checking their teeth, listening to their hearts with stethoscopes and giving the cubs oral vaccines. "Amabala's cubs are growing quickly! During their 6-week exams, each cub received vaccinations and microchips, participated in blood draws, and had physical exams. Whether feisty or calm, each cub got a clean bill of health. And it turns out, all four cubs are female! Keep watching the Cheetah Cub Cam to see these Cheetah Girls grow up!"
