Full Recipe for JALAPENO POPPERS
Ingredients
Jalapenos
• 12 Peppers
1/3 Less Fat Cream Cheese
• 8 oz
Trader Joe's Lite Shredded 3 Cheese
• 1 Cup
Panko Bread Crumbs
• ¾ Cup
Garlic Powder
• ½ TSP
Salt
• ½ TSP and to taste
Trader Joe's 21 Seasoning Salute (or dried Oregano)
• to taste
Olive Oil Spray
Recipe
Cut Jalapenos Lengthwise and using a spoon remove seeds and veins.
Spray down a cooing sheets with Olive Oil Spray and lay your Pepper cut side down and spray with Olive Oil. Then flip them over cut side up.
In a bowl mix together your Cheeses, Garlic Powder and ½ TSP of Salt.
Spray a small skillet with Olive Oil spray and turn your burner on to a medium heat.
Once your skillet is heated add your Panko Crumbs and toast for about 2 to 3 minutes. Keep the crumbs in constant motion so as to not burn.
Once toasted add a sprinkle of salt and also a sprinkle of Trader Joe's 21 Seasoning Salute. You can also use dried Oregano.
Spoon your Cheese into your Jalapeno halves.
Pop your Jalapenos into a 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes or until Cheese has melted and is oozing.
Once out of the oven sprinkle down your toasted Panko Crumbs and....serve and enjoy!
