BigBadBiologists BigBadBench | Checking out a Power Computing Mac Clone and updates about the wood LC575 / Performa 6200 test bench @BigBadBench | Uploaded February 2024 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Last week we built a wood test bench using the remnants of some disassembled Macintosh LC575 systems:

I've made some further modifications including making the wiring harness (sort of) work with Quadra 630 / Performa 6200 / 6300 logic boards and adding video out. I'll provide some updates about this project.
But the big thing is that I got my first Macintosh Clone! This Power Computing Power Center Pro 210 just came into my possession. Let's take a look inside and try powering it up!

We also started taking a look at an IBM Personal Computer 750 p90 (we'll look at this again next weekend).
