Something a little different for the channel! My friend asked if I could take a look at her Winix Air Purifier (filter) that died. Supposedly, she unplugged it, went to move it, and it made a sound like it was turning on. When she plugged it back in, it was totally dead. I've done some searching and it seems like this might be a common issue when these are just out of warranty. Let's see if we can figure out what's wrong and if we can fix it.
/edit: it turned out to be that the power supply died due to a bad diode.
