Three types of cycling infrastructure are used within a few minutes of biking because each situation is different. If transitions were smother, "in-boulevard cycling facilities" would be my favourite type (grade-separated)... but alas, transitions need to be made smoother in London.

Cars and trucks get smooth roads but bicycles (often without shocks) get bumps? How does that make sense? :(
