Barton Poulson is joined by his daughter Zoë Poulson, an undergraduate student at Utah Valley University, who shares her methods for using ChatGPT as personal tutor. Instead of relying on AI for answers to questions, she demonstrates how it can be used to simplify material (especially for people who have learning differences), break down problems, prompt students for their own answers on each step, and then provide feedback and guidance on the students' answers. In this way, AI stimulates learning and experience, as opposed to substituting for it.
