With every project I do, I always film a little extra to make a video for my Chasing Dirt series. With that being said here's part 7.
My journey started in Regina Saskatchewan at a Brandt tractor manufacturing facility. From there I drove across Western Canada and through the Canadian Rockies. When I arrived in Surrey, I stopped in at Brandt's Surrey dealership. Once the long reach arrived on the Brandt manufactured trailer, we met at a truck yard to give it a bath.
The next day the truck and trailer took a commercial Sea span barge to Vancouver island, I took the ferry. Once both barges arrived at port Nanaimo, I met up with the truck again and we were off again and driving to Port Alberni.
Once the first of its kind long reach was delivered to Kelsey Pipelines, it went directly into it's working barge, this is when the fun began for me... Equipped with an inflatable life jacket, 3 camera's and a drone, I hopped on a little motor boat to get aboard the barge. Once on the barge I began to film the long the reach working for the very first time, and had a great time learning about this Kelsey Pipelines underwater project.
What an amazing journey, I really enjoyed capturing this story. Thanks for watching.
