Charlie Quirke is running the 2026 London Marathon in honour of his mum, the much-loved actress Pauline Quirke MBE, who is living with dementia.
Training alongside his fiancée Chloe Thornton, close friends and fellow actors Jack O’Connell, Andy Knott, Luke Roskell and Adam Long, the group are preparing to take on the iconic 26.2 miles to help fund life-changing dementia research.
On Marathon Day they’ll join hundreds of other Alzheimer’s Research UK supporters on the start line, each with their own story but united in the search for a cure.
