After being rescheduled once and being in the works for many months my EP launch show finally happened! This was the first show I've ever put on, my first headline show as well and it was funded, promoted, organised and filmed by me! Great night and a great turnout - to see 50 + people all there to see me perform on a Monday night was amazing! Also a special thanks to all of the artists who supported and everyone who bought a ticket or shared the show online as well!

Performance of Swiftly at the Moon on 12/2/2022. Video shot by my brother, unfortunately didnt capture the whole song but we got a fair bit of it here for you guys to watch!
Swiftly is the first single off the joint EP A Moments Notice between Charlie J and KwanLi. With Charlie J rapping and KwanLi on production, the duo hopes to bring back the producer rapper chemistry acts such as Common and Dilla had back in the early 2000s. This track the perfect track to make you feel chilled and sexy with neo soul vibes throughout.
The track has recently featured on BBC Radio Wales on Adam Waltons show - thank you to everyone for the support so far!

WE GET LOW is the 2nd single from Charlie J’s upcoming EP “WE’RE ALL LOST” which features Elina Lee (who’s debut single “deja vu” featured on BBC Radio Wales and was a part of the Forté project in 2023) and himself over a mellow but groovy production. The song is reminiscent of smooth hip hop/RnB collabs from artists such as Loyle Carner, Tom Misch, Isaiah Rashad and Mac Miller.
Jamila Scott (A&R at Into the blue management, has worked with SZA, Years and Years and Stormzy) has described the track as “wicked” and she “loved the combination of your (Charlie J + Elina’s) vocals on the chorus”
The track has also received funding and support from Help Musicians which will be used to create the music video and help promote the track
It features lyrics that are heavily about mental health and troubles that have been faced in Charlie’s family and how he is trying to break the cycle of where he is from.
