Media Literacy Ambassadors: Derby College in partnership with the Guardian Foundation

Derby College was the first FE College to run the Media Literacy Ambassador Programme which seeks to raise awareness of and develop resilience to fake news, mis- and dis- information. The programme has trained 129 ambassadors to lead ‘Fake or Real’ workshops to their peers. It has delivered workshops to over 800 students to date across a range of curriculum areas and multiple sites at the College.
