The chandi Mata temple is situated in village ghunchapali just 6-7km. From bagbahara a tahsil place of mahasamund district in chhattisgarh .the temple is located on a Small hill sarraunded by beautiful forest and rocky knobs. The very surprising thing about the temple is many bear's are coming regularly in temple premises from sarraunding forest in evening and they take eatable offering given by pilgrim without causing any harm and hesitation. They roam freely in the premises and after eating the prasad(eatable offering's) they return in jungle. The temple premises is big and beautiful. Having main temple of chandi Mata and temple's of hanuman and bhairavnaath .an other small and beautiful cave Temple of Mata Kali is also a big attraction for devotees. There is a big hall and dharam shala is also available for rest and hault purpose of pilgrim
छत्तीसगढ़ के महासमुंद जिले में जंगली भालुओं की ईश्वर के प्रति भक्ति देखते ही बनती है। जिले के बागबाहरा तहसील मुख्यालय से महज पांच किलोमीटर की दूरी पर जंगल के बीचों-बीच मां चंडी देवी का भव्य मंदिर स्थित है। इस देवी मंदिर में श्रद्धालुओं के साथ भालुओं का भी पूरा परिवार दर्शन के लिए पहुंचता है। चंडी देवी मंदिर में प्रतिदिन सैकड़ों भक्त अपनी मनोकामना लेकर पहुंचते हैं। माता के दरबार में पहुंचने वाले भालू परिवार के चार भक्तों को जब देखते हैं तो सबकी सांसें थम जाती हैं।

Ghuchapali is surrounded by Nuapada Tehsil towards South , Mahasamund Tehsil towards west , Chhurra Tehsil towards South , Pithora Tehsil towards North .
Mahasamund , Basna , Gobranawapara , Baloda Bazar are the near by Cities to Ghuchapali.
