lowest damage run on no sprint/roll/block/parry by far but utilises an AI exploit specific to phase 3 (below ~40% hp). Without it the rng makes this kill basically impossible, it's rare enough just to get past phase 2 with this damage output. The cheese strategy still requires solid execution of the basic loop in order to enter it on top of Gundyr behaving, but I won't deny it kills the appeal of the normal third phase. That said, this fight had some crazy moments.
For a silly damage comparison, you can kill him in 10 hits at sl1 with a buffed DSA, whereas this kill takes about 100 hits. And no, RTSR does not give more damage than lloyd sword ring in this situation. It actually happens to be equal for setup. At most I'm missing 1 or 2 damage from the wasted weight and some dex. The reason I wore both rings is because you can survive a punch or a rock and end up in RTSR range.

![How I Beat Elden Ring DLCs Final Boss Hitless PRE-NERF [level 1, 0 blessing, no buffs/bleed/etc]
!! EPILEPSY WARNING !! (this boss has many flashing lights, sorry)
Something I didnt get to showcase. You CAN dodge his cross-slash when hes running at you, but you need to react insanely fast, and its a mixup with other attacks. Roll backwards twice, as early as possible. You can make the timing slightly more lenient by replacing the second roll with quickstep or BHS, as those come out faster than another roll would.
It cannot be stressed enough how much the presence of this attack dominates his entire moveset by being basically undodgeable. Dont even try to do this hitless without light roll. Thats not to say cross slash is the only issue though, this fight has too many problems to count. But I didnt just want to complain in this video.
After getting this kill, I didnt want to edit it yet so I started messing around until I eventually got that one shot parry/riposte kill from yesterday.
I actually recommend parrying if you want to fight him level 1, but this commentary might be helpful nonetheless. How I Beat Elden Ring DLCs Final Boss Hitless PRE-NERF [level 1, 0 blessing, no buffs/bleed/etc]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/InapH4rA9LM/mqdefault.jpg)

rune level 1, new game+7
no aux/buffs/skills/etc, the usual stuff. But with Heavy Load.
Unfortunately there was only one waterfowl dance, but Im surprisingly consistent at the fatroll dodge.
