Welcome to Clue 2 of the Chameleonic Socks. The modular journey continues with bottom sole of the foot and the back leg.
BOTTOM FOOT
1:46 Row 1 (RS): K4, ssk, k to last 6 sts, k2tog, k3, sl1 wyif.
3:08 After working Rows 7 & 8 you should have 22 [28, 34, 40] sts.
3:27 Row 9 (RS): K5, M1L, k to last 5 sts, M1R, k4, sl1 wyif. 24 [30, 36, 42] sts.
5:25 Row 11 (RS): K5, M1L, k to last 5 sts, M1R, k4, sl1 wyif. 26 [32, 38, 44] sts.
7:39 Repeat Rows 1 - 16 of Bottom Foot Pattern Repeat until the fabric reaches just below the top of your smallest toe. Stop after completing a repeat of Row 12.
8:43 If you're not sure how long to knit the Bottom Foot, then you can stop early and add more rows later.
9:41 You should have 26 [32, 38, 44] sts. Place 26 [32, 38, 44] sts onto a spare needle or waste yarn.
BACK LEG
10:18 This section begins by picking up all remaining selvedge sts from the Short Row Wedges. Start picking up selvedge sts in the corner by the final color B st from Gusset Row 1.

15:46 Carry colors A & B along the edge while striping colors.
BACK LEG PATTERN REPEAT
16:00 Row 5 (RS): Using B, k1, k2tog, k7 [10, 14, 18], (k1, yo) 8 times,
17:57 k7 [10, 14, 18] , ssk, sl1 wyif. 34 [40, 48, 56] sts.
19:02 Row 6 (WS): K1, p to last st, sl1 wyif.
19:32 Row 7 (RS): K1, k2tog, k to last 3 sts, ssk, sl1 wyif. 32 [38, 46, 54] sts.
21:14 Row 8 (WS): K1, p to last st, sl1 wyif.
