Chamberfield is an Ambient / Neo Classical / Electronic project headed by multi-instrumentalist and composer Jeff Miller of Northern California. A music enthusiast from an early age, Miller started his musical journey as a piano player, and eventually gravitated towards synths, guitar, drums, and string arrangements. Having played in bands and dabbling in recording for many years, he finally found time to record Over Helvetia – his debut album in 2020. Miller also records under the moniker If Stars Were Loud - a (yet to be released) Post Rock project.
“The inspiration behind Chamberfield, was a desire to get back to my roots and create music with piano as the lead instrument, surrounded by vintage synths and strings, and influenced by Post Rock, Modern Classical, Ambient Electronic, and Film Soundtrack styles – all inspired by a lifetime of listening to many of the top composers in these genres.”
