2 - Visit them.
3 - Document, and make a map.
Architecture is like an emotion: good, bad, or indifferent. You can’t stop things from being designed. Whether it’s a brilliant piece of Eames, Noguchi, Mies van der Rohe or a compromised turd of disposable furniture - it’s still all part of architecture and design.
