Another alternative music implementation for the first Chain of Balance section. The changes from my first video ( youtu.be/DOivD3EDZss ) are:
I created a dynamic version of Arena 5 to play here, with the more intense portions of the song only playing during the wraith fights. Dynamic songs are a very powerful resource, unfortunately underused in God of War 3 (fitting with the game's lazy music implementation).
Before flying up the chain, instead of the intense drums of my first implementation and the silence of the terrible in-game implementation, I used the calm part of the Return to Judges song. I think it is a nice fit, specially considering that a similar song, Doom on Olympus, plays in the cave just before this video.
In the last video's description, I said about the Icarus' Ascent section: "I considered doing a more elaborated editing, with 3 different versions, each in each section, but for now this is good." So I did just that. The first flying section uses the same version as in the game. Between the first and second sections, I modified the outro to include some strings. For the second section, I used the Icarus drums from my first implementation. For the third section, I used a more complete, OST-like, version of Icarus' Ascent.
Please tell me what you think, if it is better or worse, or if you have an idea of a different implementation.
