Hey all!
Volumetrics are always something of a pain and whenever we come face to face with simulations, we look for alternate solutions that are:
1) Fast!
2) Easy!
3) Looks great!
And that is where these steam stacks come in! Steam is a VERY common element in anime, because most slice of life shows and even shonen anime have food in and guess what is always there?!

- Demo scene with a small pot
- Particle system - Emitter & Bubbles (including Bubble shapes - shader is Eevee)
- Particle system - Emitter & Spatter (including point shape - shadeless white)

So, make your life easier, with these preset stacks, both short and tall, not to mention simple and more complex. Just add to the scene, move to the pot/plate, scale to fit and that's it!

Designed for and in Eevee, they make use of backface culling and the shadeless group, however, the steam texture setups and their displacement, work 100% in cycles, so you can use them there too, with some minor tweaks to get the alpha just right and make it work in post.
