Funded on Kickstarter, Lightpack is an ambient, content-driven lighting system that works with your television, PC and Mac. It matches the color of the content on your screen and extends it outward, thereby “extending” your content. The Lightpack’s lighting rods are actually adhesive strips that can be stuck to the back of your monitor. To adjust and manipulate your Lightpack, a free download of the Prismatik app is required. Up to five Lightpacks can work together, and the lighting system is completely open source. We can’t confirm Derek’s rambling, but he says the Lightpack works great for hair, too.
