Constant Glucose Monitors are very helpful, but I've struggled with keeping them attached and not damaging them. I've finally found a great solution. The calf placement I show in the video is the first location I've found where I don't bump it, or rub it, or otherwise have issues.
First, a huge thanks to Tom and his Type One Talks channel, @TypeOneTalks ! He was the inspiration for trying alternative placement sites for the sensor. Because of my activity level and all the things I do, I had ripped two sensors off the standard locations, and also sweated one off. I very highly recommend checking out his videos, he's a great presenter.

Here are the best cover patches I've used: stick2hope.com/products/sugar-skull-dexcom-g7?variant=44024038031610
I tried three others, and all of them lasted only 2-4 days. These are pretty good for the entire time, and if I see it slightly loosening I just use another Skin-Tac wipe to re-glue it and re-seal the edges.
I'm currently using the Dexcom G7, but also used this technique with the Libre 3. It should work with any CGM from any brand. Dexcom themselves recommended the Skin-Tac, and told me to try a patch, but didn't have one brand in mind.
They also recommended the Mastisol, which I just got. I will use this if I get any separation, to re-seal any edges or lift. I haven't tried it at all yet.
I use Uni-Solve adhesive removers to clean up the old skin adhesive when I remove a sensor.
