As IBM’s newest quantum hub, CERN will have dedicated access to IBM Quantum’s fleet of premium quantum computers to support its mission of partnering with academia and industry in exploring use cases for high-energy physics. 

Results from IBM & CERN researchers using quantum algorithms to classify the data associated with the Higgs boson production show that quantum computers can significantly improve the interpretation of the physical data of particle accelerators.
