This is a piece of ceremonial music, perhaps for a graduation ceremony. At the moment it is only a piano reduction and in the future I'd like to expand this into an orchestral piece.
My influence for my performance was Felix Mendelssohn's 'Op. 67 No. 3 "Huntsman's Song"' and my influence for part of the composition was Nobuo Uematsu's 'Rufus' Welcoming Ceremony'.
The recording, using East/West software, is a heavily edited version of my own performance ;)

Hello! I had so much fun remixing Rap God DJ Ben Brodes recent Arthas rap that I decided to go back to his first rap, UnGoro: Journey, and give that one a remix too. The backing track is fully composed and produced by me.

This one was somewhat trickier to remix than the Arthas one because I didnt have an isolated vocal track to work with, only Bens final track that contains percussion and bass. I had to keep my backing track in key with his, and this is also why there isnt much chord progression or any key changes.
No hidden Hearthstone melodies in this one, but youll have no doubt noticed the various sound effects I placed in. I really tried to fit them into the rhythm of the track, whilst relating them to the lyrics. Loved doing this.
Like with my previous rap, the mix is not terribly great as I dont usually work with vocals but I am certainly becoming more accustomed to it, and also enjoying the heck out of it. Will definitely be writing more tracks like this (if I can find a rapper to work with of course).
The music video was a last minute addition that I did just for fun. I only have Windows Movie Maker so my options were limited. To be honest I still debated whether to use the video or not, and instead use a static image like I usually do, because I dont really want the visuals to detract from the audio...however, I couldnt resist using it ;-)
