Glazes can literally flow during a firing, and my favourite glaze results are the ones that make use of this. The patterns in my glazes are almost always a natural and semi-chaotic product of the way that the glaze naturally flowed during the firing.

Then they cool enough to freeze the pattern mid-flow, preserving that moment forever.
