Arkansas officials on Tuesday expressed confidence in the future of the state's Medicaid expansion program despite the news that one of the two insurance companies participating in it is pulling out.

House Speaker Brian Evans said the Legislature would "continue to watch this process closely" as the state Department of Human Services works to shift Medicaid recipients from plans offered by Centene Corp. to those offered by Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
