I recently purchased a device that's advertised as a cell phone radiation shield, and I thought it would be fun to see how well it actually works. When I placed this device directly under my LED detector I could see a slight difference in the brightness of the light, but not to any significant degree, and since the average person would not know where to stick this devices on their phone anyway. I think it's fair to call this little gadget a scam, but these little gadgets appear to be hot sellers, and I'm quite sure you can find thousands of people who will tell you how much these things help them.
