Bit of a long time coming lol - lots of stuff happened over the summer that distracted me in one form or another, but after Terraria 1.4, FFXIV 5.3, and some... other number of things between those two, I finally had enough peace of mind to try 7B in earnest. And boy is it rough.
If the picture I took prior to beginning practicing is right, I spent a good 29 hours across 2077 deaths practicing and trying for a clear. 19 or so of those hours and 648 of those deaths being actual clear attempts. As for how I have such a good idea of those figures...

GeForce has been causing my FFXIV game to crash. Not a massive thing, but I've had it turned off for a while. So I've been relying on OBS to record attempts. The problem THERE is that eventually, I start running outta space for footage, so old stuff's gotta go (you can see the first edit is on the channel in a certain playlist). Problems don't stop THERE though, oh NO. In the last few days (I've been trying to do this for most of August, with regular breaks of course) I've found an issue with recordings that causes strange visual artefacting, like frames are rendered too fast. I don't know what's causing it, and rather annoyingly, it turns up in the first three sections of this video. It's mostly gone by the time the Hotel section starts, but up until then, it's glitchy enough that you can spot it (so no, it's NOT your PC going weird)
I'll be cutting the old attempts apart into failure reels over the next week or two, so y'all's can get a good grasp of just HOW MANY ATTEMPTS it took to finally get that sparkly goldén strawberry. But for now, enjoy the video (when it's not looking glitchy!)
