The V-2 was the world's first mass-produced liquid-fueled rocket. While this Nazi precursor to the intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) caused terror in England and Belgium during World War Two, it was also the progenitor of the same rockets that would eventually take astronauts to the Moon. This V-2 guidance timer is on loan to the Cosmosphere from the Smithsonian.
