Are you a volunteer in Aotearoa New Zealand? Visit the Zoo on us!
During National Volunteer Week Te Wiki Tūao ā-Motu (15-21 June 2025) visitors who volunteer at any organisation in New Zealand will be eligible to receive free entry to our Zoo with valid ID.
The theme of #NVW2025 is ‘Whiria te tangata – weaving the people together,’ and describes how volunteers strengthen the fabric of our communities.
This is our way of giving back to the volunteers who do so much for organisations around the motu, especially for not for profits like Auckland Zoo. Tag your friends or whānau that volunteer in the comments below and bring them to the Zoo with you for National Volunteer Week!
