"Seven Seas of Time" is a self-imagined compilation album featuring a collection of songs by the British rock vocalist John Payne.
I chose the album title and designed the artwork. I have chosen these songs as they are lesser known tracks. I feel these songs deserve much more attention. Some of them are rare, others are from John Payne's guest appearances on different albums. There are a few cover versions of very good rock songs featured as well, along with some rare demos.
Each of these songs are brilliant. I hope my choices in songs for this mix will introduce many of you to something new, something that you will all enjoy very much.

6 years have gone by since John Wetton passed away. The hurt on my heart is just the same as the day I found out. I dreaded the thought of this being a reality that I would see someday, how it pains me... God only knows. The world lost one of the greatest musicians of all time on that tragic day.
I admired John Wetton very much so. He was a hero of mine. His music touched my heart and soul in the most beautiful way. John Wetton gave me much hope and inspiration through the years. I cant name many people that I adore in the same way as John Wetton. He holds an extremely special place in my life.
With him being gone my heart cries out in deep pain time and time again. There is a part of me that will never be the same. As I type this, tears fall from my eyes as rain, silently. Truly, the brightest ring around the moon has darkened. He was a gift from above, a living miracle, a man so great that words cannot justify who he was. Even though I did not know him personally, growing up I felt as if he was my friend. One that I could turn to and find comfort in. His songs brought so much happiness into my life.
John Wettons wonder shines on through his magnificent creations. Today is not solely a reminder that he is gone but it is a day that gathers us all to remember him for the extraordinary musician that he was and to appreciate what he have us all. The gift of musical treasures along with a spirit of joy.
May God rest his beautiful soul 🙏🏻")
