Here's the complete broadcast of a first-run airing of the second episode of the Newhart series, "Mrs. Newton's Body Lies A-Mould'ring in the Grave" (S01E02), as shown over WBBM Channel 2.

This installment of the second successful series starring Bob Newhart, in the first of an eight-year run, has Dick (Newhart) and Joanna (Mary Frann) horrified to find a 300-year-old grave in their basement belonging to a woman who was hanged as a witch. Guest starring Bill Quinn (who was Mr. Newhart's father-in-law), William Sanderson and Dan Frischman, and featuring Tony Papenfuss and John Voldstad. It is also notable for being the very first episode to feature Larry, Darryl and Darryl.

(TECHNICAL NOTE: All episodes in this first season were videotaped. From the second season onwards, it would be shot on film, as his prior series The Bob Newhart Show was. Something about a Bob Newhart show that just "pops" more on film, as opposed to videotape) :-)
