Summer is one of the busiest times to visit CBeebies Land, with rides, attractions, and entertainment running throughout the day. Whether you're planning your first visit, looking to find your favourite attractions, or simply want to experience the atmosphere of CBeebies Land, this uninterrupted walkthrough showcases the area exactly as you'll find it during the 2026 summer season.
One of the biggest additions to CBeebies Land is Bluey the Ride: Here Come the Grannies, the world's first Bluey rollercoaster. Opening in 2026, the family coaster replaced the former Postman Pat Parcel Post ride and joins the popular Bluey Live show and Bluey meet and greet, making Bluey one of the biggest attractions within CBeebies Land.
CBeebies Land opened on 24th May 2014, replacing Storybook Land and Old MacDonald's Farmyard. Since then, the area has continued to grow with new rides, attractions, and live entertainment based on popular BBC CBeebies programmes, making it one of the UK's leading destinations for families with young children visiting Alton Towers Resort.

[4K] Thomas Land Shop at Drayton Manor, join us for a full tour of the UK’s largest Thomas Land Shop, a dedicated Thomas the Tank Engine store inside Thomas Land with Island of Sodor theming, Winston’s Whistle-Stop Tours access and the Discover Thomas Exhibition above.
The Thomas Land Shop is located inside Thomas Land at Drayton Manor Resort. The shop continues the Island of Sodor theme with a railway-style design, Thomas the Tank Engine displays and also serves as the exit to Winston’s Whistle-Stop Tours ride.
Thomas Land officially opened at Drayton Manor on 15 March 2008, replacing the former Robinsons Land area. The land was expanded on 8 April 2015, adding more Thomas & Friends attractions and increasing the scale of The Island of Sodor within the park. Thomas Land is promoted as Europe’s only Thomas Land and includes Sodor Railway, Troublesome Trucks Runaway Coaster, Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash, Blue Mountain Engines, Cranky’s Drop Tower and Harold’s Helicopter Tours.
Thomas the Tank Engine began in The Railway Series books by Reverend Wilbert Awdry. The first book, The Three Railway Engines, was published in 1945, followed by Thomas the Tank Engine in 1946. The books introduced the Island of Sodor, its railway world and the engines that would later become known around the world through television, publishing, toys and theme park attractions.
Thomas & Friends first aired on television in 1984 and brought the Island of Sodor to screen using detailed model railway sets and narrated railway stories. The television series turned Thomas the Tank Engine into one of the most successful British children’s characters, with Thomas & Friends merchandise, books, exhibitions and theme park lands becoming part of the brand’s long-running appeal.
Drayton Manor Resort is located near Tamworth in Staffordshire and first opened in 1950. Today the resort includes Drayton Manor Theme Park, Thomas Land, Drayton Manor Zoo and the Drayton Manor Hotel. The park has continued to expand with Adventure Cove, Vikings and Frontier Falls, while Gold Rush has become one of the major modern additions to the Drayton Manor ride line up.

[4K] Forbidden Valley at Alton Towers, join us for a complete tour of Forbidden Valley, exploring Nemesis Reborn, Toxicator, Galactica, Nemesis Sub-Terra, BUNKER 94, the Rollercoaster Restaurant, and everything this alien-infected corner of Alton Towers Resort has to offer.
Forbidden Valley is themed around the crash site of the mysterious Nemesis creature, where military forces and research teams continue to investigate the alien lifeform buried beneath the landscape. The area combines major rollercoasters, indoor attractions, themed dining, shopping, and entertainment, making it one of the busiest destinations at Alton Towers. Guests can experience Nemesis Reborn, Toxicator, Galactica, and Nemesis Sub-Terra while also visiting BUNKER 94 for ride merchandise, stopping at the Nemesis Reborn Coffee outlet, enjoying a meal at the Rollercoaster Restaurant, or spending time in the R-Cade amusement arcade. The Skyride station also provides a convenient link between Forbidden Valley, Towers Street, and Dark Forest when operating.
Nemesis Reborn remains the centrepiece of the area following its complete rebuild and reopening in 2024. Nearby, Toxicator continues the story of the Nemesis creature after opening in 2025 on the former site of Ripsaw, while Galactica offers a completely different experience as riders fly through the landscape in a face-down flying position. Beneath the valley, Nemesis Sub-Terra expands the storyline further with an indoor experience that explores the military research surrounding the creature.
Forbidden Valley has changed dramatically over the years. Before Nemesis arrived, this part of Alton Towers was known as Thunder Valley and was home to attractions including Thunder Looper, The Beast, and Beastie. The opening of Nemesis in 1994 completely transformed the area into the military research facility seen today, with Air joining the area in 2002 before later becoming Galactica. More recently, Nemesis Reborn and Toxicator have continued the evolution of the land, while BUNKER 94 has become the home of Nemesis Reborn and Toxicator merchandise.
Several former attractions remain fondly remembered by visitors. Ripsaw stood beside Nemesis before closing in 2015, with Toxicator eventually taking its place. The Blade, which had operated in various forms since the 1980s, remained part of Forbidden Valley until its removal in 2023 following decades of operation.
Alton Towers Resort is the UKs largest theme park resort, combining rollercoasters, family attractions, and themed accommodation across more than 800 acres of Staffordshire countryside. Beyond Forbidden Valley, guests can explore X-Sector, Dark Forest, Mutiny Bay, Katanga Canyon, Gloomy Wood, the World of David Walliams, and CBeebies Land, where Bluey the Ride: Here Comes the Grannies has joined the family attraction line-up. Alongside the theme park, the resort also features the Alton Towers Waterpark, Extraordinary Golf, and a variety of restaurants and entertainment, making it one of the UKs leading destinations for theme park short breaks.

Flying vessels and balloons can be seen navigating the dangerous mountain paths as explorers continue their search for the mysterious Yeti, extending the adventurous storytelling found throughout the hotel.
Designed to sleep up to four guests, the Arctic Explorer Room features a double bed, day bed, and single pull-out bed. The room also includes air conditioning, a Smart TV, mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, free WiFi, and access to free parking.
The Alton Towers Hotel opened in 1996 as the resorts first on-site hotel and is themed around the travels and adventures of the eccentric explorer Sir Algenon Alton. The immersive design makes this one of the most unique themed restaurants at Gardaland Resort, combining detailed theming with a full à la carte dining experience.
The restaurant serves a wide selection of dishes including wood-fired pizzas, traditional Italian cuisine and a variety of vegetarian options. Guests can also choose from local and national wines, along with craft beer selections. Tutankhamon Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with reservations required for lunch and evening dining. The restaurant is not limited to hotel guests, making it a popular dining location for visitors staying around Lake Garda as well as those visiting the park.
The Gardaland Adventure Hotel is a four-star themed hotel featuring 100 rooms across four adventure settings including Arctic, Arabian, Jungle and Wild West. Each room is designed with immersive details and separate sleeping areas, creating a comfortable and themed stay close to the park.
Dining at the Tutankhamon Restaurant forms a key part of the hotel experience, extending the adventure beyond the rides and attractions.

TeAwa The Fearless River is far from a traditional lazy river. This intense, fast-moving attraction propels riders through a roaring torrent of water surrounded by tropical landscapes and volcanic rockwork. Every corner brings new surges of whitewater, creating an adrenaline-filled experience that feels more like rafting than floating. Riders must wear life vests, meet the 42-inch height requirement, and prepare for an unforgettable aquatic adventure. Following the PlanIt Park kids, we capture the excitement of tackling this wild river together, surrounded by the sounds of rushing water and the sight of Krakatau towering overhead.
Located near Hammerhead Beach within Rainforest Village, TeAwa offers strong currents, unpredictable waves, and the thrilling sensation of being pulled along by nature itself. Guests race past waterfalls, bridges, and hidden caverns beneath sections of the Krakatau Aqua Coaster, making this one of the most visually immersive attractions at Universal Volcano Bay. Unlike the peaceful Kopiko Wai Winding River elsewhere in the park, TeAwa is a full-speed experience designed to get your heart racing.
Opening with Volcano Bay on May 25, 2017, TeAwa The Fearless River quickly became a fan favourite. It sits within the Rainforest Village, home to some of the park’s most thrilling rides like Maku, Puihi, and Taniwha Tubes. Volcano Bay itself was built as the successor to Universal’s classic Wet ‘n Wild water park, combining world-class water attractions with rich storytelling inspired by the Polynesian legend of the Waturi people. The park’s centrepiece, the 200-foot Krakatau Volcano, creates a stunning backdrop for TeAwa’s rapids and waves, making it one of the most photogenic rides in any water park.
Universal Volcano Bay transformed the water park experience when it opened in 2017 as part of Universal Orlando Resort. Blending tropical theming, advanced engineering, and immersive environments, it offers something for every type of guest — from thrill rides to relaxing escapes. TeAwa The Fearless River is the perfect example of this balance, delivering pure energy and excitement from start to finish.
