This video features the latest on the CAVITEX–C5 Link Expressway as of February 2026, focusing on Segment 3B, which is currently the last remaining section of the entire project.
Segment 3B spans around 2 kilometers and includes both elevated viaduct and at-grade sections. Once completed and opened, this segment will significantly improve travel efficiency between CAVITEX R-1 Interchange and C5 Road in Taguig.
As seen in the video, installation of lighting poles and lane markings is already ongoing along the viaduct. You may also notice variations in the lighting design—some lights are mounted on the parapet, similar to what we see along the NAIAX.
At the at-grade portion, the expressway now runs adjacent to the former airport runway perimeter wall. These existing walls are scheduled for repainting and improvement to remove graffiti and vandalism, helping clean up and improve the overall corridor appearance.
This update documents the current construction progress on site.
