The CALAX subsection 3 is now open to motorists (May 4, 2026 - 11:00 AM)
In this video, we take a final look at the Cavite–Laguna Expressway (CALAX) Subsection 3 main alignment, covering the stretch from Silang (Aguinaldo Interchange) to General Trias (Governors Drive Interchange).
From the once mountainous terrain of Silang, the alignment transitions into the wider plains as it approaches General Trias. This section features a combination of cut sections, embankments, and key structures that form part of the continuous CALAX corridor.
While the main alignment is already in place, there are still ongoing miscellaneous and finishing works across several sections, including safety installations, fencing, and other supporting infrastructure.
This video also includes a full drive through documentation of Westbound (Kawit-bound) with actual time of 8 to 9 minutes.
