This is our Cavite–Laguna Expressway (CALAX) update for Subsection 3 as of March 2026. Visible progress across several sections suggests that the project is steadily moving closer toward completion.
Please note that we are not authorized to announce any opening dates, as this channel only serves as an observer documenting the ongoing development and progress of the project. For official announcements, kindly refer to the expressway operator and the concerned government agencies.
CALAX Subsection 3 spans approximately 7.91 kilometers, connecting the Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange to the Governor’s Drive Interchange in Cavite.
Across much of the alignment, several finishing activities are now visible. Lane markings have already been applied in multiple sections, while cleaning and clearing works along the roadway are nearing completion. Most areas already have drainage lines installed, with a few remaining portions currently being finalized.
Hauling of soil from adjacent rented properties remains ongoing in some areas, and fencing installation is still being completed. Most portions of the alignment already have guardrails installed, while road signages are now also in place, further indicating the gradual transition toward the final stages of construction.
