This tutorial creates a squash/stretch (squetch) ball rig using Cavalry beta. The nice thing about this setup is that the rotation of the ball is not connected to the squashing/stretching so you have a lot of control. This is the first solution I was able to come up with for this type of rig, but I have a feeling I'll find a better way and revisit this tutorial.
