While in Belfast, we took a day trip down the Causeway Coast, a stunning drive along the Northern Ireland coast. We started at Carrickfergus Castle and ended at Portrush with it's fun fair. We saw gorgeous little harbours, historic ruins, Game of Thrones filming locations and lovely small towns. You could easily spend days on the Causeway Coastal Route but we only had one day and we saw as much as we could fit in! It is a stunning area of the world and well worth a drive.
